Although she appeared many years ago when she was just becoming known beyond the tri-state area, Vanessa Collier will return, triumphantly, as an international blues rockstar with her band on August 15th in a proud regional celebration of one of our own now a star on the national festival circuit and saxophone player of the year at the Blues Music Awards this year.

On August 22nd the living legacy of Conway Twitty, Tre Twitty, will perform the music of his grandfather, Conway Twitty, who played in Somers Point in the 60's. This will be a classic rockabilly festival with one of the greatest roadhouse rockin' blues bands in the country, The Nighthawks, and the incredible boogie-woogie piano of the Reverend Billy C. Wirtz.

On Sept 5th for the first time ever, a dozen of the greatest musicians who have ever played in South Jersey will assemble together when the Tony Mart Allstars host Guest Stars from the past 40 years of South Jersey music. All in one show you will see Patty Blee, Lew London, Dr. Bobby Fingers, Danny Eyer & Howard Isaacson who went to #1 on the 2024 contemporary Jazz charts with his latest single; and a posthumous tribute to Somer's Point's iconic rocker, Bob Campanell. This night will be celebrated and dedicated to the memory of Herb "Bubba Mac" Birch.

The magical and unique Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point are truly outstanding in the karmic nostalgia of rock n’ roll history at the Jersey Shore.

Conway Twitty and Levon Helm came together playing rockabilly and Conway’s last rock n’ roll shows at Tony Marts in 1965 before Bob Dylan took Levon and the Hawks away to Newport and Woodstock only to leave Tony Mart in the position where he had to hire the great Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels to finish the season at Tony Marts.

It is the mojo of this Jersey Shore; Deja vu in our lives that brings us together at Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point Friday Sept. 12th 7pm when our community and the region will celebrate “#1 in the Nation Celebration” Concert with probably the greatest and most famous living rockstar ever to play in Somers Point, MITCH RYDER!!!!!

Multi million selling classic rock star Mitch Ryder will star with the Tony Mart Allstars featuring Danny Eyer with special guest Twisted Livin’ Band in that final “First in the Nation Celebration” Concert of the season that Friday Sept 12th 7pm.

Everyone should celebrate that night and rejoice in the regional pride of what this means to all of us in our part of the East Coast of the United States.
