Devon Allman is not only the son of southern rock and blues icon Greg Allman, but he is one of the top headline stars in the current generation of the popular music of Americana jam bands, and one of the greatest blues performers in the world.

Amazingly, it will be a complete Blues Summit with four world class performers from the tremendously popular southern rock headliners, Wet Willie” to the stirring emotions of Neo soul to the legendary soulful blues of Larry McCray an international attraction on the blues festival circuit.

The Devon Allman Project combines the instrumental wizardry of the very best young blues rockin’ performers and instrumentalists with the soul of southern rock and blues in his blood: the perfectly balanced combination of famous southern rock, hits and beloved originals and contemporary favorites.

This show alone would be one of the best of the summer, but when Tony Mart Presents Mardi Gras on the Boardwalk, there is always an over abundance of world class entertainment!

Wildly popular in the south for so many years, “Wet Willie” toured to huge crowds and rode the top of the charts with their iconic hits like “Keep on Smiling”! This will be a unique treat for most fans in the northeast who never saw Wet Willie’s legendary performance. Renowned and famous for his stage performance, Jimmy Hall only knows how to do it one way and he will “tear it up” on the Boardwalk with this incredible ensemble of world class musicians.

Living proof of why New Orleans is still one of the greatest music cities ever, after giving the world American music, Sierra Green rises out of the sultry New Orleans music scene and calls the heavenly sounds of Aretha Franklin and Etta James, while defining her own New Orleans Neo soul in commanding stage performances.

Balancing it all is the soulful blues artist from Saginaw Michigan, Larry McCray, who’s powerful voice and compelling blues performance, combined with his own excellent music and deft guitar performance makes him a major attraction.

Putting it all together this remarkable combination of four of the greatest, will make the August 20th Devon Allman Blues Summit one of the very best of the season’s finest free live headliners on the East coast.
