13 FREE Concerts bring International Headliners to Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point in 2026! After having won “Best in Nation”, as voted by USA Today top ten readers poll for two of the last three seasons, the Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point will present multi million selling Grammy award winning, rock n’ roll Hall of Fame artists and the very finest regional tribute & party bands on its schedule June 12th through September 11th this summer! On the very first show June 12th, world renowned producer & singer songwriter, Tom Hambridge, will celebrate his 5th Grammy, recently awarded for Buddy Guy’s “Ain’t Done Messin’ With The Blues”, which featured some of the greatest guitarists alive, including one of our favorites, Joe Walsh. That night, kicking off the entire season of Legacy Concerts on the Beach, the hottest, ultra talented emerging blues rock stars in South Jersey, Twisted Livin’ Band will start the show. On June 19th multi award winning, Big Easy award winning stars of many Louisiana music festivals, including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonerama, will take the stage to light up the beach with their unique, funky, brassy rock n’ roll featuring classic rock songs and the famous ‘New Orleans Second Line Street Beat’. Since the days of Tony Mart, Somers Point has loved a dance party and on June 26th Tony Mart Cares will present one of the greatest party dance bands in the northeast, the quintessential front man and fun meister, Dane Anthony with his super tight group. On July 10th, the unique and mellifluous, exciting classic rock n’ roll sounds of The Grateful Dead together with Led Zeppelin, will be performed by the world class Dead Zep and a jam world rock star to be announced. On July 17th Somers Point celebrates it’s famous rock n’ roll roots when the original “Eddie and the Cruisers” soundtrack artist, John Cafferty and Beaver Brown rocks the beach one more time with the classic favorite “On the Dark Side”, “Wild Summer Nights”, and “Tender Years” along with John Cafferty’s many other hits and songs from movie soundtracks. Like all truly great artists, John Cafferty continues to create. He has just released an album, Sound of Waves, which was inspired by Bruce Springsteen, in the last year, and he will share those sounds with us that night. That show on the 17th will also feature a regional favorite, Dead Reckoning, presenting “Bearly Stoned”, their tribute to The Rolling Stones. On July 24th, it will be the New Orlean’s Dr. John and The Meters legacy show starring rock n’ roll Hall of Fame and Grammy lifetime achievement award winner, George Porter Jr., founder of two of the greatest bands in New Orleans funk history, The Meters & the Runnin’ Pardners , along with the famed Papa John Gros, performing both his tribute to Dr. John and great music from his latest release, Giants. This will be a New Orleans jam festival in one concert! Of all the greatest stars that ever played at Tony Mart’s, there is only one multimillion selling, iconic rockstar still alive. He had 17 hits on the charts, three gold records and five top ten hits! His name is Mitch Ryder and he will return to Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point in the heart of this summer of headliner rock n’ roll performers on July 31st. He will be accompanied by The Tony Mart Allstars in a 3 hour concert featuring his phenomenally strong vocal performance and hours of rock n’ roll party, dance music. On Friday August 7th, international rockstar, Glenn Burtnik, who has toured and recorded with Styx, ELO, and Max Weinberg’s Jukebox will Star with The Weeklings Beatles Tribute anchored by one of the greatest East coast drummers, Joe Bellia, from Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes for the major part of his career. One of the hottest shows of the summer of 2025 will return for an encore on August 14th when Melody Trucks Band with The Fitzkee Brothers, featuring Vaylor Trucks, in an exciting, provocative, classic Southern rock & roots rockin’ three hour jam performance on the beach. Family to the famous Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band and son & daughter of the original Allman Brothers founding member and percussionist, Butch Trucks, they are pure pedigree with youthful energy and vibrancy that makes this such a special performance. On August 21st, our own Jersey shore rock & soul guitar hero, Billy Walton, will star in a party dance concert with popular songs and popular guest stars to be announced. On August 28th it will be time for something completely different as Tony Mart Cares presents the 90’s, alt rock recording stars, Deep Blue Something, performing their multimillion selling hit “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and their other songs as part of a high energy, good time 90’s music concert. It’s back to the Boss and Jersey shore rock n’ roll on Sept 4th when the best tribute to Bruce Springsteen, The E Street Shuffle, precisely perform the sizzling hot sounds and finest vocal renditions of Bruce Springsteen in an entire evening of Bruce’s best. Again, by popular demand, on the final show of the season, Friday Sept. 11th, 2026, the searing, intense vocal performance of Patty Balbo will be featured when she performs with excellent musicians from the band red, in a tribute to the greatest women of rock n’ roll, joyfully entitled “ The Girls Can’t Help It”. That night will wrap up another unique & magical season of music with the famous songs of over a dozen divas from Janis Joplin & Chrissie Hynde to Bonnie Raitt, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift!
