CONCERTS ON THE BEACH IN SOMERS POINT
RECOGNIZED AS THE BEST OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES IN AMERICA BY USA TODAY READER'S POLL 2023 & 2024!

The Somers Point Beach Concerts have been put up for bid! Despite the fact that the representatives of the Somers Point Beach Concert Committee Tony Mart Cares met with City Council and Mayor Dennis Tapp on November 30, 2023, to discuss our request to continue producing this historic concert series in 2024, we have been informed that we need to submit a bid for consideration along with other interested parties. This is unprecedented as we have produced the concerts without interruption since their inception in 1985 and were cited by the City Council in May of 2023 for our excellence in producing this series which was voted #1 Outdoor Concert Venue in the United States in 2023!

All of the greatest regional stars, all of the tribute bands, The Tony Mart Allstars, and the international multi-award-winning and million-selling artists that this committee selects, promotes, and produces will not be a guaranteed part of your life on Friday nights if we do not take action. Time is short for action as the bids are due to be submitted by February 4th.

The City Council can act before February 13th at its meeting to accept or reject our bid from Tony Mart Cares, the non-profit corporation that has successfully produced this series of concerts since their inception and would like to continue producing these historic concerts for which we were cited for excellence in 2023!

Please express your interest, concern, and support by contacting any of the City Council members listed below as well as Mayor Dennis Tapp, urging them to do the right thing and let us continue this award-winning production of this series for which our committee was cited by the City Council in 2023.

There’s no guarantee at this time that this will happen so please take action and help us “Let The Good Times Roll” on and on!
