We have often been advised by our supporters and
friends that we should establish a bona fide
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to facilitate
and allow for tax deductible support of the many
charitable and community based events that we
produce.
Tony Mart Cares has been established to allow us
to help our great musicians who need support and
assistance as well as create more free and low
cost concerts for our Tony Mart family of
musicians and fans.
Specifically, we will be undertaking a
project to erect a monument to honor our South
Jersey Rock 'n' Roll icon, dearly departed Bob
Campanell. This will take on a greater meaning
because it will be dedicated to Bob Campanell
but symbolic of all the great musicians who
played in Somers Point over the past 60 plus
years from Bill Haley and Conway Twitty to Levon
Helm, Robbie Robertson and John Cafferty and the
Beaver Brown Band staring our beloved Michael
"Tunes" Antunes playing the soundtrack of Eddie
and the Cruisers. We have good preliminary
support for the establishment of such a memorial
monument at the site of the AtlantiCare Concerts
on the Beach in Somers Point.
In addition to these pursuits Tony Mart Care
Cafe was able to provide a beverage garden on
the boardwalk at the Mardi Gras AC concert
series in 2022. We strongly
believe having a beverage garden, the Tony Mart
Café, will tremendously improve and enhance our
successful series and allow our audience to
enjoy the party even more.
We would love to see you and we would appreciate
it if you would share this and help us to launch
this exciting new phase of the Tony Mart legacy,
"Tony Mart Cares".
With much love and appreciation, we thank you
for all that you have done and continue to do to
be such an important a part of the Tony Mart
Family!
